English:
A rich and aromatic classic Indian curry featuring tender boneless chicken cooked in a smooth, mild tomato, onion, and cream sauce. Marinated and roasted before simmering, it yields a deep, flavorful, and velvety dish that pairs wonderfully with rice or warm naan bread.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. English:
  2. In a bowl, combine the chicken with salt, pepper, 1/2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste, 1/2 tbsp chili powder, turmeric powder, and lemon juice. Cover and marinate for 1 hour.
  3. Roast the marinated chicken pieces in an oven at medium heat for 5 to 10 minutes until about three-fourths cooked through.
  4. Heat butter in a pan over medium heat and sauté the minced onions until soft and translucent.
  5. Add the remaining ginger and garlic, cook for 1 minute, then add garam masala. Stir for a few seconds to toast without burning.
  6. Add the pureed tomatoes, salt, and remaining chili powder. Simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and turns a deep reddish-brown color.
  7. Add the roasted chicken, melted butter, cream, crushed fenugreek leaves, and sliced green chilies. Simmer for an additional 5 to 10 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
  8. Season with extra salt if needed, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve warm over rice or naan.
  9. Español (México):
